Public Art Commission For SheringtonIt%u2019s a great privilege for me to have been commissioned to create the artwork for Sherington and I%u2019d like to say thankyou to everyone for putting your trust in me for this commission.Please do come to one or more of the events I have outlined below to add your voice, ideas and knowledge to the final outcome %u2013 this is your opportunity to help shape the final artwork.I would like to thank everyone who turned up on the evening of October 8th to meet me at the village hall. It was lovely to see so many of you and say hello as well as to answer some of your questions and to listen to a number of ideas that the art work could incorporate.If you would like an opportunity to come to meet me, talk about your ideas and even have a go at creating some text and/or images to help with the final art work, then please come along to one of the following sessions.I will be at St Laud%u2019s Church coffee morning on Saturday 1st November from 10 to 12 noon.I will also be around for the afternoon of November 1st to make home visits with Sherington artist and poet Deb Fielding. If you are unable to leave your home, and would like to be involved, then please email me on charlotte@making-marks.com to arrange a possible time.On Saturday 29th November I will be running an open afternoon at the Village Hall 1-5pm.Everyone is welcome, come for a few minutes or for a few hours. I will have drawing supplies, guides to help people to create text and will be encouraging people to get their ideas down on paper.
